Quiana has been dancing since the age of 4 and joined the India school of Dance at the age of 9. Following years of rigorous training and studying of the Kathak dance form, Quiana completed her Aradhana in 2017 as part of India School’s and Manitoba’s second group of Kathak dancers to attain this level. Kathak is a passion of hers that she is eager to share with others through teaching students of all ages, assisting in senior Kathak dance classes, and performing around the city. Throughout her time at India School, she has taken part in many performances such as Asian Heritage Month, Folklorama, and obtaining High Silver in the Manitoba Dance Festival. She now spends her free time as a spin instructor at WPG Cycle and works as a personal fashion stylist at a clothing store. She is currently studying biology and human rights at the University of Winnipeg and is part of the university’s Biology Student Association executive team.
