Since arriving in Manitoba in 1968 from Mumbai, India via Cleveland, Ohio, Pamela has had an ongoing influence and impact on the mainstream and ethnocultural arts at the municipal, provincial and national levels. She began with the Children's Dance Theatre in the 1970s, and over four decades later, Pamela continues to serve as the Executive Director at India School of Dance, Music and Theatre Inc.

The Virtual Carnatic  Music Ensemble Concert originally planned for May 15, 2020 has been placed on hold until the situation in India Improves. Please continue to check the website for updates.

Executive Director of India School Honoured with Mahatma Gandhi Community Service Award

Our school founder and Executive Director, Mrs. Pamela Rebello OM, received the prestigious Mahatma Gandhi Community Service Award at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights. This was presented by the Mahatma Gandhi Centre of Canada at their Peace Awards Ceremony.
