Yoga is an art and science that helps one understand the divinity within oneself. The practice of yoga helps the human race to maintain a sense of well-being in the physical, mental, and emotional realm.

Yoga classes offered at the India School of Dance, Music, and Theatre include stretching, yoga postures, breathing techniques, and simple mudras. These classes are suitable for beginners, intermediate, and advanced practitioners. All are welcome to join and drop-ins are encouraged.

Class schedule: Saturday mornings from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm

On September 14, the India School of Dance, Music and Theatre, in collaboration with the Pooja Kulkarni Dance Collective, presented an evening of Kathak at the Gas Station Arts Centre. The performance featured internationally acclaimed artists Abhimanyu Lal and Varsha Lal, marking a significant milestone for Winnipeg’s arts community.
