We are discussing the journey undertaken by the India School of Dance, Music & Theatre (ISDMT) towards truth and reconciliation, particularly in the context of indigenous culture and values.
The India School of Dance, Music & Theatre Inc. has long-standing roots that intertwine with those of Folklorama. In fact, the idea of the South Asian training institute to teach students and showcase artists began in the seventies because of Folklorama.
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our Kathak Guru Sandhya Desai at the age of 82, on August 7th, 2022.

Pamela Rebello is a woman of immense achievement that includes being awarded the Order of Manitoba. She is the Executive Director of the India School of Dance, Music and Theatre.
